Get to know Dr. Brett Miller, O.D.

When did you know that you wanted to be an optometrist

I actually fell in love with optometry during college while working at the original Triangle Visions in RTP! I was employed as a scribe by Dr. Clark and Dr. Glupker. I spent all day in the exam room with two great doctors and knew this was exactly what I wanted to do!

Favorite part of being an optometrist

The best part of my job is when a child graduates their vision therapy program and for the first time can read a book. Not only can they finally read, but they actually WANT to read! I love seeing the kiddos graduate the program with new confidence in themselves and the ability to reach their full potential in the classroom, athletics, and socially.

Favorite vacation

My favorite place to go on vacation is the beach! I usually go to Sandbridge, Virginia where I paddleboard, run, and spend time with family and friends.

Favorite concert you’ve been to

In high school, my dad got my friends and I tickets to see Beyonce, Alicia Keys, and Missy Elliott. I danced the WHOLE time! Such talented women!

Fun fact

I love to serve by going on eye care mission trips! I’ll be going on my eighth trip this summer! Donate your used glasses and sunglasses!
