When did you know that you wanted to be an optometrist
In my senior year of high school, my final English research paper topic was about researching a potential career. While at my own general eye exam, my family eye doctor convinced me to shadow him and use Optometry as my topic. After researching the field and seeing his genuine interactions with patients, I was hooked!
Favorite part of being an optometrist
I love the genuine reactions patients provide after showing them a new prescription. It seems like such a small, but important thing to help a person see better.
I studied abroad for a short time in Toulouse, France. Such a beautiful city, and country!
Favorite concert you’ve been to
Young the Giant, such a fun atmosphere to sing along to!
I like to collect magnets from places I travel to. My goal is to fill the space on my fridge entirely!
