Get to know Dr. Lindsay Totten, O.D.

When did you know that you wanted to be an optometrist

I worked in an optical one summer during college and was amazed at all of the systemic diseases that show up during eye exams.

Favorite part of being an optometrist

When someone comes back the next year and says "I've never seen so clearly in my life!"

Favorite vacation

I'm known to hang out at Caswell Beach, NC quite a bit, but my study abroad experiences in college were the best traveling experiences I've had thus far.

Favorite concert you’ve been to

I did see Taylor Swift in the Philadelphia Eagles stadium when I was in Optometry school!

Fun fact

If I didn't become an Optometrist, I would have been on Broadway.  I have season tickets to the Tanger Performing Arts Center and go to (almost) every show!
