Triangle Visions Optometry has a heart for global vision care, especially efforts to serve communities without access to eye care.
We have partnered with OneSight
OneSight is an independent nonprofit with the solutions, people and resources to eradicate the vision care crisis for good. They believe that when the world sees better, the world lives better—and that with clear vision, we can take on humanity’s greatest challenges. Together with donors, volunteers, partners, and sponsors, we bring eye exams, glasses and permanent vision centers to the individuals and places that need eye care the most. OneSight has impacted over 21 million people in 49 countries and counting—creating opportunity and sustainable change along the way.
Triangle Visions Optometry is also delighted to have the opportunity to volunteer with Special Olympics of North Carolina to get athletes screened. Featured above is one of our amazing team members working with an athlete!
How Can You Help?
One way you can help us is to collect used eyeglasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses and drop them off at a Triangle Visions Optometry location. These donations are then sorted, cleaned, processed and packaged for delivery to developing nations around the world. Thanks to you they can then be provided at no cost to the patients seen.
