Dr. Courtney Gregg, O.D.

Dr. Gregg was raised in South Bend, Indiana and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Indiana University.
She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in 2017, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was awarded the Navy Health Professions Scholarship and served as an active duty Navy optometrist for eight years on the west coast. She deployed in support of “Pacific Partnership” in 2018, spending five months onboard the USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) and providing eye care to host nation patients in various countries around the world. In 2022, Dr. Gregg completed Naval Aeromedical Officer training in Pensacola, FL and graduated as the 39th Naval Aerospace Optometrist. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

When did you know that you wanted to be an optometrist
In high school I received my first pair of glasses and it completely changed my life.
Favorite part of being an optometrist
Beyond helping patients see clearly to maximize their ability to enjoy everyday activities and hobbies, routine eye exams also offer a window into overall health and can reveal early signs of systemic conditions like diabetes or hypertension.

Japan!
Do you have any pets?
I have a very sweet small dog from the shelter named Bubs who has been the best travel and hiking companion.
Fun fact
Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love building overly elaborate costumes each year.
