Dr. Kyle Degman, O.D.
Dr. Kyle received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry from George Fox University in 2018.
He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2022 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR where he received an award from the College of Optometrists in Vision Development for Excellence in Vision Therapy. He then went on to complete his optometric residency in Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, and Optometric Neurorehabilitation in 2023 at a private practice in Portland, Dr. Kyle is currently working towards his fellowship through the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. OR.
Born and raised in Oregon, he moved to Raleigh to join an incredible community and practice optometry. Dr. Kyle joined Triangle Visions in 2023. He specializes in Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, Optometric Neurorehabilitation and Primary Eye Care no matter the age

When did you know that you wanted to be an optometrist
When my younger sister went through a vision therapy program for strabismus as a child, it inspired me to help others in similar situations!
Favorite part of being an optometrist
Having the opportunity every day to be the best provider I can be.
Favorite vacation
The Galapagos was a once in a lifetime trip that I would love to be able to go to again.

Fun fact
In 2016, I won the Dr. Pepper Scholarship for throwing footballs into oversized cans at the Pac-12 championship!
